Cold process is a traditional method of soap making that preserves the natural properties of oils and ingredients, resulting in a gentle and nourishing soap.

Cold process soaps require time to cure so they become milder, longer-lasting, and more skin-friendly. This is an essential part of the process.

Indulgence Guide and Product Directions

Care Rituals

Handcrafted with precision and patience, each piece is made using pure oils, rich butters, and thoughtfully chosen botanicals — designed to elevate your everyday routine into a quiet moment of indulgence.

Cleansing — Handmade Cold Process Soaps

  • Upon receiving your soap, unwrap it and store it in a cool, dry space to preserve its freshness and natural aroma.
  • Our soaps are made using the traditional cold process method, which retains natural glycerin for a gentle, skin-conditioning cleanse.
  • To extend the life of your bar, always place it on a well-drained soap dish, ensuring it is not left in standing water.
  • After each use, allow the soap to dry completely. This helps maintain its firmness and ensures longer use.
  • If the bar feels large, you may cut it into smaller portions for convenience and better longevity.
  • As we do not use synthetic fragrance stabilizers, the scent remains soft and may naturally fade over time. For the best experience, use within 2–3 months
  • Perform a patch test before first use. Discontinue if irritation occurs.
  • Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs.
  • For external use only.

Nourishing — Body Melts / Lotion Bars

  • Glide the bar gently onto warm, clean skin, preferably after a shower. Your body heat will soften the bar, releasing its nourishing oils and butters.
  • Massage lightly until absorbed. The formula is concentrated — a small amount is sufficient
  • For best results, apply on slightly damp skin to help lock in moisture and leave a smooth, hydrated finish.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • As these bars are made with pure butters and oils, they may soften or melt in warmer temperatures — this is completely natural.
    • If this occurs, allow the bar to set in a cooler environment or refrigerate briefly until firm.
  • Always handle with clean, dry hands and keep away from water to maintain quality.
  • For external use only.

Summer Care — Glycerin Dew in Handmade Soaps

An expression of purity, not a flaw.

  • Our cold process soaps are naturally rich in plant-derived glycerin, a humectant that draws moisture from the air. In warm and humid weather, this may appear as tiny droplets on the surface, often referred to as glycerin dew
  • This is a sign of a well-crafted, high-glycerin soap and does not affect its quality, safety, or performance.

How to Care

  • Store soaps in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated space, away from excess humidity.
  • If dew appears, simply gently dab the surface with a clean, dry cloth or tissue before use.
  • Keep unused soaps in a breathable box or loosely wrapped (avoid airtight plastic in humid climates).
  • During use, always place the soap on a well-drained dish and allow it to dry completely between uses.

In Warmer Months

  • Slight softening may occur due to natural oils and butters — this is normal.
  • For a firmer bar, you may place the soap in a cooler area for some time before use.
  • Cutting the bar into smaller pieces can help maintain its texture and extend its life.

A Note on Nature

Glycerin dew is a hallmark of true handmade soap — a quiet reminder that what you hold is pure, unsealed, and alive to its environment.
